It is “Tumblr Tuesday” over here so I thought I would put together a little list of reasons I chose to use Tumblr over other blogging systems:
1. It’s easy. Tumblr has an Android app, super easy posting capabilities (new posts and “re-blogging” of other content), is integrated with other social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and themes that are pretty cool to begin with that allow for easy customization.
2. To follow #1, I wanted to find a blogging option that worked for me. I have had a blog before and I really struggled to keep up with content. I really do love reading content-driven blogs (everything from crafty tutorials to editorials!) and I even enjoy writing. But, to be honest, I am not sure I have the talent for it and I most certainly don’t have the time. Tumblr is a “micro-blogging” system and, for me, is great for sharing inspiration on the subjects I enjoy.
3. Tumblr allowed for the use of my custom domain (um, for free!)
And since I am sharing…what I don’t like about Tumblr:
